Major Donation to kickstart the 2028 Festival Appeal
At the Annual Meeting in Harrogate this week the Provincial Grand Master James Newman, OBE was delighted to receive a cheque from West Riding Masonic Charities Ltd, in the sum of £200,000, to kick-start the Yorkshire, West Riding 2028 Festival Appeal, in aid of the Masonic Charitable Foundation.

New Landmark Reached
Recently, an incredible milestone was met when the 200,000th soft toy was given to a young patient at Sheffield Children’s Hospital. A total of 17 hospitals in North, South and West Yorkshire, participate in the TLC scheme, which is funded by West Riding Masonic Charities, and receive a box of teddies every month, which they have done so since 2008.…

Major Grant for Shantona Women’s Centre
The Masonic Charitable Foundation has granted £32,411 to fund a Development Support Worker for a year at Shantona Leeds which provides a safe place for women, children, & young people, especially older women in the Bangladeshi community who face loneliness and social exclusion.
